Meet Michelle
............
Hi! I'm Ms. Michelle!
I’ve been playing the piano for 26 years, receiving classical instruction for much of my life. I have a deep love for music in all forms, but particularly enjoy attending the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and local opera performances. Music to me is the purest form of communication, giving anyone the ability to express their emotions and thoughts in a profound way. There are so many experiences that music can help us process and learn from, providing an unbelievable outlet for expression in all of life’s moments.
My main passion for teaching comes from a desire to help my students learn more than great skill and technique, but also develop an avenue to connect with themselves and understand the world around them. There’s a lot of joy and fun in the musical community that I’m excited to share with others!
Outside of my musical hobbies, I love gardening, golfing, painting, and nurturing animals of all types. I particularly love cats and birds, sharing my home with my 4 felines and 7 feathered friends! I happily care for my collection of 73 houseplants and 12 outdoor garden beds, where my husband and I grow an assortment of produce for fun. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, I earned my MBA from Wright State University and now maintain a full-time career with the United States Air Force as a Human Resources Specialist.
